About The Position

The Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California is seeking an Academic Services Coordinator to join the Office of Academic Services. This role supports curriculum development and revision, academic policy processes, student records, and a range of academic services. It is a one-year fixed-term position, with possible extension contingent on business needs. The role follows a hybrid schedule: staff work in person at least three days per week and may work remotely up to two days, though business needs may require additional in-person work. New hires may be expected to work fully in person during probation and training. Applicants must submit a cover letter and resume. The coordinator assists with reviewing and processing curriculum, course, degree-program, and policy-change proposals; maintaining student degree progress and academic records; and responding to student and staff questions about academic procedures. The role also supports course and exam scheduling, final exam administration and proctoring, grade processing, student petitions, academic publications, records management, and department operations. The position requires staying current on applicable ABA and university standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
