About The Position

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Academic Genitourinary Pathologist. This is a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The department is a subspecialized surgical pathology division and prefers candidates with fellowship training and/or expertise in Genitourinary Pathology. The role requires expertise in all aspects of Genitourinary Pathology, with additional experience in adrenal resections and biopsies being preferred. Candidates willing to provide coverage in other service areas such as Gastrointestinal, Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, and/or Cytopathology are also encouraged to apply. The position involves participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and effective communication with an active clinical care team that provides statewide integrated care. The successful candidate will be eligible for membership in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, offering opportunities to collaborate with basic, translational, and clinical researchers. In addition to teaching clinical residents and fellows, there are opportunities to teach in the School of Medicine, Graduate School, and Undergraduate School.

Requirements
