About The Position

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Medical Oncologist specializing in Genitourinary (GU) malignancies. The role emphasizes scholarly clinical practice, strong interpersonal skills, dedication to multidisciplinary patient care, and a focus on clinical and/or translational research. The candidate will be involved in developing and implementing clinical trials for GU malignancies, collaborating across disciplines to advance GU oncology, and contributing to medical education by teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. The care model is multidisciplinary, involving Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, Nurse Navigators, Oncologists, and specialists from Urology, Surgery, Pathology, and Radiation Oncology. Mayo Clinic Florida, a Comprehensive Cancer Center, offers access to advanced diagnostics and clinical trials through its phase I program, phase II consortium, and national cooperative group studies. Requirements

  • Board-certification or board-eligibility in Medical Oncology.
  • Eligibility for state of Florida licensure.
