About The Position

RCG Behavioral Health Network is hiring ABA Therapists, Behavior Technicians, and Registered Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children and young adults with autism and related developmental needs. Applicants with or without an active RBT credential are welcome; titles are determined by education and credentials, and applicants hired into an RBT position must have a verified, active credential before serving in that role. Working under a Behavior Analyst’s supervision, employees help clients develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills by following individualized treatment plans. Services may be delivered at an RCG center, clients’ homes, schools, or community settings, depending on the assignment. Full-time daytime and part-time evening schedules are available. Full-time employees may choose to work additional evening hours based on availability. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements, employment status, and applicable plan terms. Employees with an active RBT credential may qualify for additional benefits after completing the 90-day introductory period.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Complete required background screening, training, and competency requirements.
For assignments involving client transportation, hold a valid Virginia driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Be able to follow clinical instructions, accept feedback, maintain confidentiality, and build respectful professional relationships.
Applicants hired into an RBT position must have a verified, active RBT credential before serving in that role.
Be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including the stated physical requirements.

Nice To Haves

College degree or coursework in psychology, education, social work, counseling, sociology, or a related field.
Experience working with children or young adults in a classroom, childcare, therapy, or individual support setting.
An active RBT credential is welcomed but is not required for all openings.

Responsibilities

Provide direct ABA therapy and carry out activities in each client’s treatment plan.
Use positive reinforcement and teach replacement skills for challenging behaviors while protecting each client’s dignity.
Support caregiver training under the direction of a Behavior Analyst.
Record behavioral data and complete session notes and other required documentation accurately and on time.
Follow trained safety and crisis management procedures.
Collaborate with families, supervisors, coworkers, and other professionals involved in clients’ care.
Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development.
Help transport clients in an RCG vehicle when required by the assigned program.
For RBTs, maintain an active credential and complete required supervision and tracking documentation.
