Part Time 6th-8th Grade Math Tutor (Ridgewood, NY)
About The Position
Study Smart is hiring a part-time Math tutor to provide high-impact tutoring to students in grades 6–8 in Ridgewood, New York. The tutor will work with small and large groups, have access to information about class assignments, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, and communicate consistently with Study Smart staff. The tutor will partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies for students. The schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM EST. The role requires a completed four-year degree. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired, and candidates must complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location.
