About The Position

The 3D Technologies (3DT) enterprise team partners with the business to address challenges and develop innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. Its mission is to democratize inventing and make it accessible across the company. The international DevOps team delivers solutions and services—including CAD and 3D printing—to help colleagues become more productive and enable innovation. 3DT Operations is the centralized location for fabricating internal ideas and data. The West Point 3DT lab houses approximately 50 3D printers, other fabrication equipment such as a laser cutter and injection molder, and post-processing equipment. The lab develops hundreds of projects end to end each year, relying on effective knowledge transfer across functions and efficient operations. The co-op will primarily support lab operations by managing print queues, troubleshooting and improving printers and processes, integrating new equipment, and documenting best practices. The role also offers hands-on exposure to post-processing and assembly, outreach events, and collaboration with departments across pharmaceutical processes. The position is primarily onsite, with an expectation of attendance 4–5 days per week. This is a six-month co-op assignment from April 2027 through September 2027. Candidates must be pursuing a relevant degree, remain enrolled in an academic program, and return to university after the assignment to complete graduation credit requirements.
