About The Position

The Vaccine Manufacturing Automation Co-op is a fixed-term co-operative assignment in the Manufacturing & Supply Division, lasting up to six months and including one or more projects. Based at the company's West Point, Pennsylvania site, the role reports to vaccine automation management and supports ongoing operational activities. Under department management guidance, the co-op completes automation projects supporting vaccine manufacturing, uses computer simulation to test proposed changes before implementation, and authors or updates Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation. The role also involves daily plant operations, including upgrades and maintenance support for manufacturing equipment, and interaction with production support groups such as technology, quality, planning, and validation. The co-op gains practical experience with equipment operation and an understanding of GMP, safety, and environmental requirements.
