About The Position

The Future Talent Program offers co-ops lasting up to six months, with one or more projects, in the Research & Development Division. The Chemical Biology group within Discovery Chemistry is seeking a co-op with a passion for scientific research, strong academic performance, communication skills, and the ability to work on cross-functional teams. The role offers development in state-of-the-art science laboratories, addressing fundamental synthetic or biological problems relevant to drug discovery and development as an integrated member of company project teams. The Chemical Biology group, comprising chemistry, proteomics, and cell pharmacology, focuses on providing novel, high-quality targets and increasing confidence in the molecular mechanism of action for key assets. The co-op will apply chemical and biological expertise to complex biological problems in both chemistry and biology laboratory spaces, gaining firsthand experience with technologies used to create a synergistic toolbox for early discovery and beyond. The position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Applicants must have consent from their PI. Interview candidates must be prepared to submit letters of recommendation, a brief research statement, and a copy of their transcripts. The position is a fixed-term intern/co-op role, approximately six months full-time beginning in mid-2027. Relocation and travel are not provided or required, respectively.
