About The Position

The Future Talent Program offers co-ops lasting up to six months, including one or more projects in the Research & Development Division. The Chemical Biology group within Discovery Chemistry is seeking a co-op with a passion for scientific research, strong academic performance, communication skills, and the ability to work on cross-functional teams. The co-op will work in state-of-the-art science laboratories on fundamental synthetic or biological problems relevant to drug discovery and development, as a fully integrated member of company project teams. The Chemical Biology group in Cambridge, Massachusetts, brings together chemistry, proteomics, and cell pharmacology to provide novel, high-quality targets and expand confidence in the molecular mechanisms of action of key assets. The co-op will gain practical experience with pharmaceutical research, learn about spatial biology and proteomics and their roles in drug discovery, and participate in departmental and project team meetings to gain a broad perspective on the pharmaceutical drug discovery and development process. The position is a fixed-term co-op for approximately six months, beginning in early to mid-2027. Applicants must obtain consent from their PI. Candidates selected for an interview must be prepared to submit letters of recommendation, a brief research statement, and a copy of their transcripts. The role is based in Cambridge, MA, is a first-shift position, and requires work with hazardous materials. No relocation, visa sponsorship, or travel is offered or required.
