About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEM After School Instructor to lead classes in 3D Printing and Robotics for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching foundational concepts in these exciting fields using Edison robots and Build-A-Bot programs. Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, typically in 60-minute blocks. The program runs from October 2026 to May 2027.

Requirements

  • Experience with 3D Printing and Robotics.
  • Familiarity with Edison robots and Build-A-Bot programs.
  • Ability to teach K-5th grade students.
  • Availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • Must be able to commit to the program duration from October 2026 to May 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students in 3D Printing and Robotics using Edison robots and Build-A-Bot programs.
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the K-5th grade level.
  • Deliver instruction during scheduled class times on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • Participate in mini camps and field trips as needed.
