About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging STEM After School Instructors to lead classes in 3D Printing, Wacky Science, Magic, Drama, Martial Arts, Chess, Sports Science, and Zumba for students in grades K-5. This is a part-time position with classes running from October to December 2026, Monday through Friday, from 3:45 PM to 4:40 PM. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality, fun, and educational programming.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in grades K-5.
- Passion for STEM education and extracurricular activities.
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain student engagement.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available Monday - Friday from 3:45 PM - 4:40 PM.
- Must be available from October to December 2026.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in 3D printing, science, drama, or other listed program areas.
- Teaching certification or degree in a related field.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct after-school classes in subjects such as 3D Printing, Wacky Science, Magic, Drama, Martial Arts, Chess, Sports Science, and Zumba.
- Engage students in grades K-5 with dynamic and interactive lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Prepare materials and set up the classroom for each session.
- Communicate effectively with program coordinators and site staff.
- Provide a fun and educational experience for all students.
