About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging 3D Printing Instructor to lead after-school programs for K-5th grade students. This role involves teaching the fundamentals of 3D printing in an interactive and fun environment. The program runs from October to December, with classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM.
Requirements
- Experience or strong knowledge in 3D printing technology.
- Ability to work with elementary school-aged children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to manage a classroom setting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching or instructional experience.
- Experience with various 3D printing software and hardware.
- Background in STEM education.
Responsibilities
- Instruct K-5th grade students in 3D printing concepts and techniques.
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Oversee the use of 3D printing equipment and materials.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
