About The Position

We are urgently hiring a STEM After School Instructor for our Wacky Science program. This role involves teaching students in grades K-5. The program runs from September 2026 to November 2026, with classes held on Tuesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at our Middlefield, CT 06455 location. Compensation is $60 per hour of class, or per assignment (mini camp, field trip, etc.).

Requirements

• Experience teaching or instructing students in grades K-5.
• Knowledge of STEM concepts suitable for elementary school students.
• Availability on Tuesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM during the program dates (September 2026 - November 2026).
• Ability to manage a classroom environment.
• Reliable transportation to the Middlefield, CT 06455 site.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Wacky Science program curriculum.
• Background in a specific STEM field.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities
