About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Education or a related field.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic school mission and philosophy.
• Demonstrated classroom management and age-appropriate teaching skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and create learning objectives for diverse learners.
• Proficiency in educational technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with faculty, parents, and administrators.
• Ability to participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
• Ability to maintain student confidentiality and demonstrate professional integrity.
• Dedication to professional growth and emerging educational practices.
• Experience developing and implementing engaging lesson plans.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Ability to work a schedule of 40 or more hours per week and attend required school events, including events outside traditional school hours.
• Sustained mobility to move throughout classroom and school environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks required in an educational setting.
• Ability to speak clearly, see, hear, and respond effectively to students, staff, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging lessons in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies aligned with diocesan guidelines and grade-level standards, incorporating Catholic values.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom that celebrates diversity and supports students’ academic, social, and spiritual development.
• Communicate regularly with families through updates and conferences to support student growth and strengthen the school-home connection.
• Assess and document student progress using developmentally appropriate methods, adjusting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Plan and lead daily prayer, religious activities, and age-appropriate discussions of Catholic teachings.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to support consistent educational approaches and a positive school culture.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s mission of academic excellence.
