About The Position

The 21st CCLC program provides academic enrichment opportunities that complement students’ regular academic programs and offers literacy and other educational services to families of participating children. The 21st Century Tutor facilitates academic programming for elementary school students in small groups and through whole-group extension activities, administers the Quick Phonics Screener to assess members’ phonetic skills, and develops engaging lesson plans aligned with QPS skill sets.

Requirements

• Some college required.
• Experience facilitating quality programs for youth, preferably educational programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills.
• Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
• Ability to organize and multitask a variety of responsibilities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience preferred.
