About The Position

CIBC’s Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience running from June through August. It is designed to complement academic training and support interns’ career aspirations through hands-on assignments, structured training, technical and analytical skill development, networking, mentorship, leadership support, and community outreach. The program’s focus is Learn, Connect, Grow. Work-arrangement details, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. The intern will support early talent program coordination, project management, program metrics, and engagement with internal partners. The expected hourly rate for the State of Illinois market is $25.00, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Requirements

Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and legally eligible to work at the specified location.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.

Responsibilities

Assist in organizing and executing early talent programs, including leader connect sessions, peer networking events, and professional development workshops.
Coordinate with the early talent team to complete ad hoc projects throughout the program.
Collect feedback, track participation, and compile data to support continuous improvement of the program.
Build relationships across the HR team and cross-functional teams to support projects and build relationships across the bank.
