About The Position
At LearnWell, we are committed to changing the lives of the 10 million students in the U.S. who are dealing with behavioral health and medical issues. For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team at Boston's Children Hospital on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will provide one-on-one bedside academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients.
Requirements
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Massachusetts teaching license
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
