We're looking for our first Community Experience hire! You'll work with the Chief Community Officer, and will be responsible for assisting with the health and success of our member community. You don't necessarily need to have prior experience with community management or customer experience (though having some sort of online support/success/community background is preferred), but you should feel comfortable interacting with anyone in any role to make sure they have what they need to succeed.

As a Community Experience Manager at Teal You Will:

  • Be passionately member-focused and a champion for our community, including creative ways to interact with our members across a variety of channels.
  • Be one of the faces & voices representing Teal within the community and when dealing with customer issues. 
  • Understand our business model and goals to improve long term retention, community health, and brand affinity.
  • Be great at communicating, and unafraid to reach out and ask questions

You Have Experience:

  • Responding to and engaging a high volume of people online
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving with limited information
  • Managing several projects at once
  • Learning how to use brand new communication tools
  • Identifying gaps in communication and documentation and proactively creating a solution
  • Working in a remote, distributed work environment 
  • Planning and leading online events

What Awesome Looks Like:

  • At 1 month: You will be responding to messages and directly engaging community members across our communication channels. 
  • At 3 months: You will have helped test and refine a playbook to delight Teal members through reactive and proactive interactions
  • At 6 months: You will be identifying and taking the initiative on opportunities to improve the health of the Teal Community

What We Offer: 

  • $45,500 - $75,000 depending on seniority & geography, No Equity 
  • Fully remote work team & remote office stipend
