About The Position

Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care for a day shift position. This role is responsible for the comprehensive care and management of patients with wounds and ostomies. Requirements

  • Associate Degree RN
  • IL licensed RN
  • BLS
  • 2 years RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides case management to a group of patients completing specific assessments according to evidence-based practice/protocols.
  • Demonstrates clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound and/or ostomy care/treatment.
  • Provides efficient and effective care in collaboration with the physician.
  • Manages a number of patients at the same time.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare providers, Supervisors, Managers, Physicians, and Directors regarding department and patient needs.
