About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
• Ability to fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a FCAW test in steel.
• Ability to pass a 6G GTAW (TIG) test in Aluminum.
• Ability to pass an open root stainless TIG weld test.

Nice To Haves

• Intermediate and experienced aluminum and stainless steel TIG Fitter/Welders.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision.
• Read and understand shop drawings.
• Ensure all fit-up and welds meet inspection standards by in-house and/or customer CWI's.
• Participate in in-house testing and certification, including welder qualification testing, reading and understanding drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures.
