About The Position

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT, RVS, ARRT, or board-eligible graduate) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for vascular sonographers seeking a consistent Monday-Friday outpatient schedule in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The ultrasound technologists play a critical role in diagnosing venous disease, supporting minimally invasive procedures, and helping patients improve their quality of life. RVTs are a critical extension of physicians, ensuring every ultrasound scan supports accurate diagnoses, procedural success, and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), ARRT, or graduates of an accredited ultrasound or vascular sonography program eligible to sit for registry certification strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong ultrasound scanning skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for patient care and creating a positive patient experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment
  • Reliable, flexible, and collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an accredited allied health, diagnostic medical sonography, or vascular ultrasound program preferred
  • Venous insufficiency studies
  • Vascular ultrasound or duplex ultrasound imaging
  • Outpatient imaging or vein clinic experience
  • Experience supporting ultrasound-guided procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR documentation workflows

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound evaluations and post-treatment scans
  • Maintain proper scanning protocols while ensuring patient comfort and safety during exams
  • Communicate preliminary findings to physicians accurately and efficiently
  • Document ultrasound findings and patient information within the EMR system
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within exam rooms and ultrasound equipment areas
  • Support daily patient flow in partnership with physicians, medical assistants, and front desk teams
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the entire patient experience
