About The Position
This position works as a contractor as part of a mixed team of government and contractor personnel. Their task is to augment the Govt staff in daily network administration and user support. They provide configuration, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, preventive, and corrective maintenance to the network, and ISP/OSP. Additionally they provide network vulnerability management, system scanning, network server support, change management, software patching, administrative support, troubleshooting, and repair for communications systems encompassing the operational network.
Requirements
- Must have at least 5+ years of related Network Administrator experience or similar skillset
- Must have a Security+ CE Certification or higher
- Must hold an active Secret Security clearance
Responsibilities
- Augment the Govt staff in daily network administration and user support
- Provide configuration, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, preventive, and corrective maintenance to the network, and ISP/OSP
- Provide network vulnerability management
- Provide system scanning
- Provide network server support
- Provide change management
- Provide software patching
- Provide administrative support
- Provide troubleshooting and repair for communications systems encompassing the operational network
