About The Position
This position works with a group of people to perform serving duties at events, carrying trays, set-up for events, and cleaning up after events in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a service oriented personality and an eye for details.
- Must be able to carry a tray with 10 dinners, set tables, chairs, and rearrange furniture.
- Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write clearly in English.
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member.
- Must have good interpersonal and organization skills.
- Must maintain a current SafeServ certification and Basset certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a quality establishment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance.
- Assist bussing staff in removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and then take them to the kitchen for cleaning when necessary.
- Securely transport food from the main kitchen to specific banquet area either on trays or in warming containers.
- Serve individual plates of food and/or beverages to guests in a professional manner.
- Set and decorate buffets.
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
