The Cardiac Device Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, coordinating, planning, implementation and evaluating care of patients who have had Cardiac Devices implanted for treatment or diagnosis of cardiac related rhythms. The Cardiac Device Nurse coordinates the interrogation, programming, and triaging of implanted devices’ data, acquired during in-clinic visits or through remote transmissions. The role also serves to educate patients, providers, and other clinical staff on the utility of implantable devices, the intricacies of device functionality and data, and the role these devices play in the management of arrhythmia patients. This position will work with the Heart Failure specialty within Cardiology clinic. Will work closely with Heart Faiilure APP and Physician.
