About The Position

Requirements

• Accredited Certified Respiratory Therapy (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current licensure in ND.
• BLS certified.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess and monitor patients requiring RT treatments.
• Document assessment of lungs, treatment, evaluation, care plan, smoking cessation, equipment set-up, supplies and education.
• Consult with nursing and physicians to modify plan of care as needed.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Inform other disciplines as appropriate.
• Accurate charges – billing.
• Evaluate equipment needs – send requests for faulty equipment.
• Inform CNO if equipment needed in next budgeted year.
• Complete Quality Assurance for the RT Department and updates policy and procedure manual annually.
• Complete assignments timely and with accuracy.
• Good time management, able to prioritize and is available when needed.
