About The Position

Action Behavior Centers (ABC) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). In this role, you will work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years, utilizing play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. You will follow personalized treatment plans, collect session data, and facilitate learning through engaging activities like play, movement, reading, and games. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment is crucial, as is collaborating with a supportive team focused on child development. ABC offers a clear and rewarding career path with opportunities for advancement into leadership and clinical roles, including becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through our Everest Program. Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
  • Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy.
  • Follow personalized treatment plans.
  • Collect simple session data.
  • Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
  • Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
  • Occasionally support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed.
