About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• At least 12 months of nursing experience.
• Meet all applicable state and licensing requirements.
• At least three additional months of experience in the specific modality, unless otherwise specified by state regulations.
• Documented training and experience in peritoneal dialysis and/or home hemodialysis, including maintenance of dialysis access.
• Basic training certificates if less than one year of experience in the modality.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively with clients and fellow employees.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Previous teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and train home peritoneal dialysis patients, care partners, and families.
• Protect patient rights and support patients’ privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe, secure environment.
• Provide care to dialysis patients using appropriate knowledge, skills, and judgment.
