About The Position
LensCrafters is seeking an independent Doctor of Optometry to operate their private practice within a LensCrafters store, adjacent to a Luxottica-operated optical dispensary. This role offers complete professional autonomy, allowing the optometrist to set their own professional fee schedule and retain all patient revenues for professional services. The position provides a furnished office and a well-equipped exam lane, along with an online appointment book and patient recall system. This independent practice model offers an easy entry with minimal financial risk. Affiliation with Luxottica provides advantages such as freedom from business concerns of the dispensary, allowing focus on patient care. Affiliated ODs are also eligible to participate in OneSight, a global initiative providing vision care to underserved populations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Ability to operate a private independent practice.
- Willingness to participate in the OneSight mission.
