About The Position
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients following established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates patient care with other disciplines while employing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. The position works day shifts for 36 or 48 hours per week. Employees must be willing to work holidays, with the option to take one holiday off. The role is based at multiple locations within the region.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy is required.
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification is required.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
- Must be willing to work holidays; one holiday off is available as an option.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
