About The Position
United Digestive is a large, well-established organization with approximately 140 physicians, 120 Mid-level Providers, and 27 endoscopy centers in the southeast. We seek candidates with a record of academic achievement and excellent consultative and diagnostic skills. Gastroenterology experience is preferred, but not required. Requirements
- Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner.
- Must be computer literate and able to operate Practice Management software and multiple Microsoft Office applications.
- Provide a high level of quality patient care and customer service at all times
- Work under pressure; assess, respond to, and communicate issues in a timely manner
- Maintain composure and set a professional example to patients and coworkers
- Communicate clearly with patients and coworkers through the telephone, email, and in person
- Interpret and apply clinical and non-clinical policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Gastroenterology experience is preferred
- new graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Running daily GI outpatient clinic
- Accurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures
- Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Abiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information
