About The Position
The Sales Consultant is an outside sales professional who represents Coleman Worldwide Moving’s moving and storage services and generates bookings. The role builds business by networking the Coleman Worldwide name, developing self-generated opportunities, and using company-provided sales leads to increase branch revenue. The consultant conducts in-person surveys of customers’ homes or offices, prepares estimates, works to close assigned leads, prospects for new customers, and follows up with prospective customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Knowledge of basic computer software.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to operate an iPad, laptop, and desktop computer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- Work experience in the moving industry, real estate, or outside sales.
Responsibilities
- Represent and generate bookings for Coleman Worldwide Moving’s moving and storage services.
- Network the Coleman Worldwide name to create self-generated business.
- Use company-provided sales leads to increase branch revenue.
- Conduct in-person surveys of customers’ homes or offices and analyze customer needs for scheduled appointments.
- Prepare estimates and attempt to close business on assigned leads.
- Prospect for new customers.
- Follow up with pending customers and attempt to close sales.
