About The Position
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, provides basic medical assistance to physicians/providers and nurses by providing basic preparation of patients according to area specific Policy and Procedures including but not limited to vital signs, chart preparation, phlebotomy, procedure assistance and lab sample collection. Utilizes department specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data.

- Performs basic patient preparation according to area specific Policy and Procedures
- Takes vital signs
- Prepares charts
- Performs phlebotomy
- Assists with procedures
- Collects lab samples
- Utilizes department specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data
