About The Position
This is a full-time Medical Assistant position in Internal Medicine located in Cheshire. The role involves preparing patients for office visits, performing tasks such as escorting patients to treatment rooms, obtaining pertinent patient information for medical records, and documenting information in patients’ charts. The Medical Assistant will also process patient telephone calls and correspondence for the practice, organize and prioritize duties to optimize efficiency and promote positive patient outcomes, and scribe information on a regular basis.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Nice To Haves
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a medical office/hospital setting involving medical assisting and direct patient care
