About The Position
Seda North America, a certified Great Place to Work four years running, is looking for a 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 3PM - 11PM) talented Industrial Controls Technician to join our our team in Mt. Seda North America, is part of the global Seda International Packaging Group, producing cutting-edge paper packaging solutions in a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned, food-safe facility. Our products include insulated coffee cups and containers for the food industry—designed with sustainability and style in mind.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial controls maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Familiarity with HVAC and building automation systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Knowledge of 5S, CMMS, Microsoft Office, and metric system
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Mitsubishi controllers, compressed air, vacuum, and chilled water systems
- Associate’s degree in a related field
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems (PLC, HMI, AC/DC/Servo drives)
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize system performance
- Maintain accurate records and ensure safety compliance
- Diagnose electrical systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and logic tools
- Support minor mechanical repairs, welding, and fabrication
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for layout and system improvements
