Lamoille Valley Ford is seeking an Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic for a full-time position in Hardwick, VT. Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician / mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must have your own basic tools.
Nice To Haves
- Ford certification is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.
- Perform quality vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure customer safety.
- Execute work orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
- Clearly document work performed and communicate effectively with service advisors.
