About The Position
This role involves the loading and unloading of materials, managing inventory, preparing products for shipment, and operating various equipment to move freight. The position requires adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to perform tasks independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
- Good written and verbal communication skills; good organizational skills; good problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge and use of Excel and Word, Internet and email
- Able to work any shift & Overtime with short notice
- Self-Motivated
- Team Player
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must be able to work any shift
Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
- Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight
- Perform and report cycle counts
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
