NPW Material Handler

About The Position
This position performs a variety of warehouse tasks to ensure accurate receipts, storage, and shipments to our customers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years materials management experience, preferred.
- Must possess a current forklift certification or be able to complete in house forklift training.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds occasionally and/or 25 pounds frequently.
- The position requires pushing a maximum force of 30 ft/lbs. and/or maximum pulling force of 30 ft/lbs.
- Physical capability to use a personal fall arrest system (full body harness and self-retracting lifeline).
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Physically capable of operating machinery and lift equipment.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment functional capacity test.
- Willingness to work at heights up to 25 foot in the air while wearing a personal fall arrest system
- Ability to use computer station and keyboard.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Positive team oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Accurate movement of inventory.
- Fulfilling, packing, and shipment of customer orders.
- Perform inventory cycle counts when required.
- Complete equipment and safety checks. (harness, forklifts, etc)
- Work together with other team members and departments to complete tasks.
- Use a variety of material handling machines. (Pallet jacks, hand trucks, propane forklifts, reach trucks, etc)
- Operate packaging equipment. (Pneumatic stapler, foam machine, nail gun etc.)
