About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, which can range from mild to moderate.
• English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal).
• Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
• Current or prior MHE certification.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders using a pallet jack, accurately picking products and staging them in the appropriate areas.
• Stacking, packaging, banding, shrink wrapping, and labeling products as determined by client requirements, following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Verifying that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly using appropriate documentation.
• Ensuring products and/or orders meet quality standards, and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
• Executing all safety protocols and accomplishing job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assisting in the security of the warehouse.
• Complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
• Operating equipment, including a pallet jack, in a safe and efficient manner and following prescribed work methods.
• Performing or assisting in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Working overtime as dictated by business needs, whether mandatory or voluntary.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
