About The Position
Amazing Care Home Health provides Private Duty Nursing, which involves working with one patient per shift in their home, differing from typical home health nursing with short visits to multiple patients. Shift lengths vary to accommodate different preferences. The patients and families rely on the nursing care provided. On-the-job training is provided for each patient to ensure nurses feel confident and prepared.
Requirements
- Active RN or LVN License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Administer medication, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records using web-based electronic medical records system.
