About The Position

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proven track record of working with diverse populations and managing complex cases.
• Experience providing therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy.
• Strong understanding of social work principles, ethics, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage crisis situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to address mental health issues and promote emotional resilience.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate social work services into patients' overall care plans.
• Advocate for patients' needs and connect them with appropriate community resources and support services.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Stay informed about developments in social work practices and mental health therapies to provide evidence-based care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to patients and families during emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
• Uphold social work ethics, confidentiality, and respect for all patients.
