About The Position

The Student Front Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the office, providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This role supports daily office operations by assisting with administrative tasks, managing communications, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.

Requirements

  • Open to students with federal work study
  • Available to work on the main campus in Gainesville
  • Must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
  • Must be enrolled for at least six credit hours a semester
  • Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 10 hours per week up to a maximum of 20 hours per week in this position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, calendar systems)
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Professional demeanor and reliability

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or office experience
  • Familiarity with campus resources and services
