About The Position
Degy Concepts is seeking USA-based Special Event K-Pop DJ Karaoke Hosts in all states. This solo, gig-based role involves DJing and hosting a live lip-sync battle performed karaoke-style, intermingling performances with popular K-Pop music, and creating an upbeat, engaging atmosphere that encourages guest participation. Hosts independently lead the event, manage time, adapt as needed, and set up and operate basic technology. Providing basic sound and lighting production is preferred but not required. Hosts are booked on a show-by-show basis and must be able to travel by car or air depending on event location. Most gigs last 1–2 days, including travel time, and may take place during the day, evenings, or weekends. Duties also include setting up backline and basic equipment, including a handheld microphone and tablet on a tripod, and assisting with cleanup and packing materials after events.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of live DJ performance experience and familiarity with the K-Pop genre.
- Strong hosting and DJ skills, especially in K-Pop music.
- Comfort using a microphone and being the center of attention.
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident leading a crowd.
- Prior experience in public speaking or leading large groups.
- Ability to set up and operate basic technology.
- Ability to lead independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt on the fly.
- Professional and reliable, with ability to travel for events.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must possess a Real ID or valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- May be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities
