About The Position
As a Dishwasher General Utility, you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition while assisting in food preparation procedures. Duties of this position will include setting up, using, and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift, keeping the food line stocked with clean plates, and multiple cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift, including work area and restrooms.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to move from place to place in the kitchen when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.
- Assist in food preparation procedures.
- Set up, use, and maintain the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift.
- Keep the food line stocked with clean plates.
- Perform multiple cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift, including work area and restrooms.
