About The Position
The Billing & Denial Analyst works within Patient Financial Services and takes a lead position in managing insurance denials. The role focuses on timely follow-up, accurate resolution, and effective communication with payors. It also supports team operations through training, auditing, and oversight while helping maintain accounts receivable goals and financial performance standards. The position is hybrid remote, with onsite training required, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- Completion of high school or GED is required.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and collections.
- Understanding of debits and credits.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate follow-up and resolution of insurance denials for Patient Financial Services.
- Serve as a lead resource for denial management within assigned areas.
- Provide training, auditing, and oversight of daily denial-related operations.
- Work with third-party payors to obtain appropriate reimbursement using compliant collection practices.
- Support departmental accounts receivable goals through timely and accurate follow-up.
