About The Position
Mammoth Disposal (Waste Connections) is hiring a CDL Class B Driver for local, home-daily routes in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This role is based in Mammoth, with occasional work out of our Bishop location. Shuttle transportation from Bishop available. Employees working out of Bishop can take advantage of a company-paid shuttle that transports drivers between Bishop and Mammoth, making commuting easy and reliable. If you’re looking for a stable, year-round CDL job in the Eastern Sierra with great pay, full benefits, and consistent hours, this is the opportunity for you.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B with Air Brakes
- Clean driving record
- At least 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
- Basic English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate garbage trucks on local routes
- Complete routes efficiently and safely (residential & commercial stops)
- Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Handle physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50+ lbs)
- Provide professional customer service in local communities
