Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Surgical ICU: This 12-bed unit provides care to patients who are hemodynamically or medically unstable with life-threatening illnesses that require intensive monitoring, nursing care and medical treatments. This may include multiple traumas, solid organ transplants, organ failure or rejection of organs, severe metabolic fluid and electrolyte balance and post-op care for surgical interventions.
