About The Position
CentraCare's Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join their award-winning, nationally recognized program. This role involves performing various echocardiogram procedures including TEEs, Stress Echo, Adult Echo, Pediatric Echo, Fetal Echo, Vascular Ultrasound, imaging of LVAD, and imaging support for TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree in Echocardiography or 1 year of equivalent knowledge and skill in the area of echocardiography including educational requirements to take registration exam as defined by ARDMS or CCI
- Ability to perform echo procedures is required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
- Must obtain national registry in Adult Echocardiography (through the ARDMS or CCI) within 1 year of graduation from echocardiography program required
- Must annually maintain 15 hours of AMA or SDMS approved continuing medical education in the field of echocardiography
