About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree, or graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technology (LPT) program.
• For applicants with an associate degree: five years of full-time experience in a community mental health setting serving individuals with mental illness.
• For applicants with a bachelor’s degree: four years of full-time experience in a community mental health setting serving individuals with mental illness.
• For LVN or LPT applicants: four years of experience in a community mental health setting serving individuals with mental illness.
• One year of supervisory experience in a mental health setting.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• First Aid certification from a qualified agency, such as the American Red Cross, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Field of study in Social Science, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Rehabilitation Therapy, or a related field.
• Inpatient or residential experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Registered Nurse (California), LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license or certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement the rehabilitation program and oversee overnight programming at the Crisis Residential Treatment Center.
• Ensure clients receive supervision, nursing care, treatment, medications, and diet in accordance with program guidelines and treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide direction and supervision to direct service staff.
• Participate as a member of the leadership team.
