About The Position
We are looking for a professional and experienced Bartender who can work weekends, both during the day and evenings, from mid-July to mid-September. If you demonstrate the ability to prepare cocktails of quality and with efficiency, are highly organized and have a positive attitude, we would love to meet you!
Requirements
- One year of experience as a bartender.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer offerings
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, serving drinks and wine.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
- Strong POS system abilities.
Nice To Haves
- TIPS Bartending Certification, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages with accuracy and speed.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Memorize signature cocktail recipes and prepare with consistent and accurate methods.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Supply end of week order sheet to the Events Manager.
- Stay focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
