About The Position
Job Overview: The Barback facilitates the smooth service of the bar by assisting and supporting Bartenders and Servers to ensure prompt service and satisfied guests. Reports to: Lead Bartender and F&B Management Essential Functions: Responsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, and cleaning the bar area Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area including tables, chairs, floors, and walkways Wash and polish glasses and other serving equipment Communicate with bartenders and wait staff to ensure and maintain guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Must be available any time on the weekends
- At least one year of experience as Barback preferably in a boutique hotel or resort environment
- Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with guests and coworkers
- Knowledge of wine and liquor preferred
- Active food handler's certificate is preferred
